ZRP Roadblocks-What Happened
This time of the year, many people are driving a lot to or from holiday and this scenario had at one time become a permanent feature on Zimbabwe's roads.
To those who have recently driven through Zimbabwe, did you encounter any road blocks, what was your experience?
Can you say things have indeed changed?
We would like to wish all those who are travelling safe arrivals and please do not drink and drive.
Beitbridge border post has been quiet either direction though we expect some congestion with the southbound traffic.

We have just returned from a holiday in Zimbabwe. From Beitbridge, there were army/ police checks....they did not stop us. We went through to Gweru and found the same. On our way to and from Victoria Falls, there were police on the road, no stops and then we came across the Road Safety checkpoint, where they gave out pamphlets, explaining the changes that will be made within the police force. My brother said it was all the points people were complaining about. A lot different to our experience 5 years ago.
